2pmSingapore Grand Prix qualifying

Live commentary will bring you all the action in what is certain to be a exciting session. Back-to-back race wins for Verstappen have added more intrigue to the championship battle. Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris will be eager for solid outings in Singapore. The team's strong form for most of the season means they are likely to claim a tenth constructors championship on race day, but Verstappen's comeback has caused some concern. Although the Australian still leads his teammate by 25 points in what seems a two-driver battle for the driver's championship, any mistakes could let the Red Bull driver to reduce the 69-point gap to the lead.

EPL

3pmArsenal v West Ham and Manchester United v Sunderland live

Updates on important matches with a pair of managers especially under the spotlight. The constant focus on Amorim's struggles at Manchester United has escalated to critical, and the meeting with the Black Cats has all the makings of a watershed before the international break. Amorim’s fiftieth match in charge might be his final, even though United having won their last two home fixtures. After 49 games, Amorim’s record reads: won 18, 12 draws, 19 losses. That 36.7% win percentage contrasts starkly with his predecessor Erik ten Hag’s 70 percent at the equivalent point. The Hammers, meanwhile, run out for their second game under Nuno, following Monday's 1-1 draw at Goodison Park. West Ham have the interesting statistic of having defeated Arsenal back-to-back at the Emirates. Another home defeat by their local rivals seems unlikely given the Gunners’ recent form – six victories from their past eight Premier League matches.

The evening match sees the clash of clubs in a poor run. Arne Slot’s side are without a win in their last four Premier League games at Stamford Bridge but have not suffered consecutive league matches since April 2023. Searching for omens? Isak, Liverpool’s summer signing, has scored in his past two Premier League games at the Bridge, though both games ended in losses for his former team Newcastle. Live blog will be provided.

Full coverage and post-race reaction from one of the racing calendar’s biggest events will be provided. In a lineup of 17 for the 3:05 PM feature race, the Aidan O’Brien-trained Minnie Hauk is the 3/1 favorite after being handed a good draw in gate 1. The trainer, who is seeking a third win in the race, also runs Los Angeles, third last year, but the horse will have to defy gate 14 to claim victory. Aventure, who is just after Minnie Hauk in the odds, was handed stall 12. Chances of a first Japanese winner were hurt, with the Derby victor, one entry, and the Prix Foy winner, Byzantine Dream, assigned in stalls 17 and 15 respectively. Their countryman a third Japanese runner appears better placed in gate 4. André Fabre’s pair of two runners did better with gates 3 and 8 respectively, while Francis-Henri Graffard’s three had reasonable draws.

One in the afternoonSingapore Grand Prix live

Live updates of the main event under the night lights will be provided. Clearly Max Verstappen has momentum – he was second at his home Grand Prix in the Dutch GP before his victories in Italy and Baku – but probably still requires a spectacular McLaren drop in form, as well as victories in the final seven races and three sprint races, to {clin
